Saving your spot when you log out
Hi there,
Ive been playing Guild wars for a little while, and Im now level 10. so far, i like almost all things about Guild wars. Many times, im trying to get a new city, and when i get close, I need to leave for errands, hair cut, homework, etc. Then, when i log back in, i am at the town i left from. this means that I need to spend all that time going back over where I had just gone. this is... anoying. Now, I understand that Guild wars is a different kind of online Role Playing game 9CRPG or CORPG - Something like that) BUT it would be nice to keep your spot when you log out. Towns can sometimes be far apart, and then you need to log out and start all over again. If the person was in a party, 2 things could happen. 1) They go to the first town that the party goes to, and stays there (Does not travel, but goes there when the player logs in again), or 2) the player leaves the party and remains in that spot A) alone, or B] with automaticly generated henchmen.
Like it?
Dislike it?
Why?
Whynot?

Let them do the running, pay the guy in advance, leave game on and go afk. Plus seeing you must not be to far into the storyline many towns is easy to fight to or run to yourself.

I dont know many people in the game, and I usually go with NPCs because my guild members are not always on.

So manage your time a little a better, If you know your only going to be able to play for say 30 minutes then don't do something that going to take more then 30 minutes.

Every outpost is rather close.
I would not like to start in dangerous areas when I log in....bad idea.

I agree, logging on in the middle of SF, UW, ToPK-UW, or FoW by myself would not be fun

Make Saving Spot Optional [In menu]
Replace Party Members with henchmen.
Problem Solved.

One question..will the mobs and chests be reset?
If they will...I can imagine people logging in and off just to farm the mobs? =/

This opens some very effective "leeching" possibilities. Bad idea,
